Monster Hunter new trailer: Milla Jovovich's film seems as though a computer game

The most recent Monster Hunter trailer flaunts more set-pieces and special visualizations the film has to bring to the table. Let's face it, the film doesn't look especially insightful or character-driven.

A new Monster Hunter trailer is here. The film is based on Capcom’s video-game franchise of the same name. In the film, a group of US marines are pulled into another world by way of a portal. The new world, in which the video-games are set, is populated by giant monsters, and they spot a ‘hunter’ who kills the said monsters and helps them survive. 

Milla Jovovich leads the cast as a US Army Ranger. Tony Jaa plays the role of the said hunter. Tip “T. I.” Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman, Jin Au-Yeung and Ron Perlman also star in Monster Hunter. 

The latest trailer shows off more set-pieces and visual effects the film has to offer. Let’s be honest, the film does not look particularly intelligent or character-driven.
